The Ring and the Sword
Book Two of the Chronicles of the Lawbreaker
The High King had been murdered on his throne. Ambrose the Prophet was dead, but before he died, he passed the Lawbreaker’s ring to Lauren. Blamed for both those deaths, Lauren flees from town to town across the Federation pursued by bounty hunters and soldiers of the High King. Haunted by the loss of his mentor and sought by some malevolent power, Lauren hides his true name and his identity as a minstrel. He finds refuge in a place he never dreamed existed and there he comes face to face with the history of his people and a destiny he’s not sure he can accept.
The second novel in my high fantasy trilogy is now available. Strongly inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien, Patricia McKillip, Ursula K. Le Guin, and Mary Stewart, The Ring and the Sword continues Lauren’s story. Use the links below to get your copy.
Praise for The Ring and the Sword
The fast-paced plot drew me in from the very first chapter, with the stakes escalating at every turn ... The vivid world-building, especially the depiction of Evendim and its immortal inhabitants, added an enchanting layer to the story. - Chad Richins for Readers’ Favorite | |
