The Minstrel and the Prophet
Book One of The Chronicles of the Lawbreaker
Larry was born in Covington, Kentucky but grew up in the DC suburbs of northern Virginia. In high school, one of his goals was to be a writer and he wrote a number of stories, all of which have been lost. Given what was written about them in his journal, that’s probably for the best. It was in high school that his love of fantasy was born, along with the idea for a character known as the Lawbreaker and the idea of itinerant musician-scholars known as minstrels. Life — an accidental career in retail management and a chosen career as a college professor — happened, but the desire to write never went away and he was always working on developing the world of the minstrels in the background. Larry currently resides in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia where he teaches psychology classes at Shepherd University. In his spare time Larry builds HO scale model trains, plays folk music on six- and twelve-string guitars, and devours fantasy novels.
